Description

Join Reconciliation Australia, Gadigal Information Service and the City of Sydney in an important celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the 1967 Referendum - a high watermark in the history of reconciliation in Australia.

The Sydney Town Hall is of particular significance as it was the venue for celebrations shortly after the 1967 Referendum.

The evening will include a 3 course dinner, memories from the 1967 Referendum campaign, games and awesome music.

Entertainment: Music by Soul Mumma, Rochelle Pitt - her funky and soulful sound has been entertaining Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities for many years but after reaching the finals of the 2014 X Factor, she quickly gained a national audience. Also featuring DJ sets from Koori Radio presenter and National Indigenous Music Awards Hall of Fame inductee Mark Munk Ross.

Ticket Prices:

Community members and NGOs = $50/ticket or $500/table for 10 people (+GST)

Corporate organisations = $600/ticket or $6000/table for 10 people (+GST) - invoice is available

Corporate organisations are being asked to pay a higher rate to ensure affordable access to this historic celebration for community members and NGOs.
